Julia's battery died. It resisted being jumped. Steve went over there, took it out, had it tested (dead...very dead) went looking for a new one, put it in. Josh meanwhile made plans to go to NYC, plans to go but didn't work out the details like where he would stay..
Haven't seen Naomi for a while but usually each week we have to rescue her somehow. I did some baby shopping without her. My target: a cradle that rocks itself.
Not a very exciting week. A lot of time spent watching the hummingbird come and go trying to take its picture but so far, that hasn't worked out.
In September 2008, I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, a huge shock to me. Within you will find my journey into the scary world of cancer and my struggles to emerge from it.

My friend--the 47 year old first time mom--got a "swing" that rocked itself and made one of a palette of "shushing" noises that were soothing.
The contraption is very suitable for all the modern sleep-on-your-back and the four or five "s"s of baby quieting. Swaddling, swinging, shushing, sound???
Actually, who knows what they are. This is another Presto? Primi? Prongo? Prego? moment.
So Teri, where are you? Somwhere in the wide, wide world with Dick?
Hi...Dick and I went to the Ojai (about 30 minutes SE of Santa Barbara). It is an "Artist" community...but also there is a very middle class spa there called the Oaks at Ojai (I have been there 4 times). Also...there is another venue called the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa.
...this is where Dick and I were this weekend. Luxurious. Wonderful. Perfect. Unbelievable. The food in the restaurant was the best I have ever had in a restaurant. The second massage I got was also world class. It was beautiful, the room was wonderful. the bathtub was perfect...not to mention the spa facilities and the pools. I thought I was living someone else's life///
Sounds great!!! I have an ex=brother-in-law in Ojai. So glad that you had such a positive experience.
