Latkes and Christmas trees

Shanna and her family

I made latkes and blintzes for Shanna and her kids last night. We spent most of the day trying to decorate this tree. I have about 40 years of ornaments. Some of them are falling apart. The main challenge was untangling the many strings of lights. But the kids were very excited to see the tree and help put on ornaments. I put the glass ones way up high. We will see if Maya can keep her hands off the tree tomorrow.

It was fun having the kids here in the morning. I am so glad that Shanna's family was able to move back to Michigan.
