Little Free Libraries

The little free library in my neighborhood that I run by quite often
This cute little red box just popped up a couple weeks ago along my running path. It's a community lending library. I haven't used it yet. I've been donating books that I have no intention of reading again to either the Cancer Support Community or to the local school book sale but it seems I will have another outlet to drop off a spare book or two.

One nice thing about the recent cool weather is I don't feel obliged to get out before it gets too warm. So off to the country road for a long run to make up for the sloth of yesterday. Take that, inner nag.

The female hummingbirds were on my feeder every few minutes just a couple of days ago. I haven't seen them at all today. Did they fly south already?

Last week in my quest for mass (mess) reduction, I went through old photos throwing away duplicates and truly awful pictures. Some I carted away to Shanna as they were her photos  but the better ones I will scan.

Steve and 5 year old Naomi

buckets of babies.Almost everyone I knew had these buckets but they are no longer sold. Josh is on the right. He is about 3.5 months: well before the hair started coming in.

Love those photos. Both such tender moments.
