Some pretty things in this world

This is from the light show last month in Berlin. I went on line to see if I could find my friend's video of the wall being built in front of the Brandenburg  Gate and found these instead.

This is in Ann Arbor. This man goes around downtown making chalk pictures

The Tower of London is currently surrounded by 900,000 ceramic poppies

Bike path in the Netherlands lit up like Van Gogh's Starry Nights
None of the photos above are mine. Some cool videos of Berlin can be found here. I thought that more people than just my friend would have taken a video of the Wall coming down (in laser lights) but apparently not.

I did venture out all bundled up just as it was beginning to snow 2 days ago. A man passed by me on his bike.
Last ride before the snow?
Too late for that. My cousin from the west side of the state posted a photo of her granddaughters sledding yesterday in what looked to be 6 inches of snow. Lake Michigan nearby results in lake effect snow. All we have is a dusting.

For 2 days I hunkered down in front of this computer making my photo book. Which photos to include? Paring down 2600 down to 300 or so was not easy. I didn't include too many of Venice as I had made a separate book of them. But I am pretty much finished, just will edit it one more time and I am done.

Congratulations on completing the photo book. It must be a huge weight off your shoulders.
Love the beauty. It is always there - but we need open eyes, hearts and minds to see it.
