Arrivederci a tutti!

All packed and ready to go...
We fly to Milan tomorrow evening. This trip is my present to myself for having survived cancer for a year. I'm still dealing with last minute details.

I got my nails done today. They lasted about 5 minutes before I chipped some of the polish. I have rarely had my nails done as having nail polish on is incompatible with being a chemist even though we wear gloves. I do polish my toenails as running is not kind to them. The nails I lost to Taxol have finally grown back. Nor do my fingernails have the white lines and brown stains on them anymore as almost 7 months has past since my last poisoning. Still I am embarrassed to show up at these nail places with my funky nails. A pedicure is out of the question.

The strong wind caused a power outage here last night. When it returned, somehow it turned on the radio in static mode. Couldn't figure out what was going on. I should have run today but decided to take my exercise routine inside and did weights instead.

I probably won't have much access to a computer so my blog will be on hold for 2 weeks.

Have a wonderful time Sue. It is beginning to look like many people that have finished their treatments are treating themselves to a nice vacation....something everyone deserves:)
