Highlights of 2022

Many pictures. Although I loaded them in order, Blogger has a mind of its own. We went to Europe twice and to New York City. With an old friend I tried canoeing the Boundary Waters and visited the main sites in the Upper Peninsula with Naomi. In between did lots of gardening, running, bicycling and raising black swallowtails. Also had lots of family time and seeing friends   For the most part, a good year  Aside from maybe getting Covid and an accident that chipped my front teeth, we have our health

I saw a documentary about a Holocaust survivor who, a few times a year, travels from Israel to Budapest. During the filming, she was at the shoe memorial (where some of her relatives died) when some idiot drove by and yelled, "Filthy Lice-Ridden Jewess." Trump called people like that "good people" when they were in Charlottesville, and I think they're all Trumpians at heartm no matter where they're from.

Of these many wonderful photos, I especially enjoyed the one made in Germany that has an orange house in it. You are a gifted photographer.

Thank you Snow. It is easy to have nice pictures when there is so much beauty around
The Shoe Memorial was vandalized a few years back though not clear if it were clueless teenagers or neo Nazis

Lots of scary Trumpers everywhere. I fear for my ‘rainbow ‘ family
