Back to Europe

I guess it has been a while since I posted. I have trying to avoid Covid so We could travel, easier now that Covid has gone down significantly in Michigan. We have to have a negative pcr test in hand before flying to the Netherlands, which we do. Hopefully the timing is right. Plane delays can derail us as we don’t have a nonstop to Amsterdam despite it being a hub for the most dominant airline in Detroit. So we have to use Lufthansa and its partners here which has cut some sort of deal with Viking.

My son took the worst airline last week to Vegas. Full of delays getting there but the worst was it cancelling its home bound flight saying they would put him on a new flight soon. They would not answer their phone nor did they ever reschedule him. He was forced to find an expensive last minute seat on the old reliable airline we had. Hopefully a lesson learned

Will the world end soon due to the crazy heartless evil Putin? Can’t think too much about it and all the misery he is causing. Pure evil. And yet he has his followers here, the same ones who think storming the Capitol was a heroic act and want to have some sort of dictatorship here too

I spent two weeks hobbling one one leg using a pogo stick as a crutch as any weight on my right leg caused unbelievable pain. And how was I going to spend whole days walking around Europe?  Lots of anxiety. fortunately the pain is almost gone.  How did this happen? Stupid itreadmill.  While trying to turn the fan on, I must have hit the 12 mph button and panicked.  I still could bike though and there were a few days warm enough to go outside
