My Outdoor Living Room

Pesky the squirrel makes yet another attempt on the feeder which is designed to snap shut under his weight. Two blue jays look on. Morning light causes weird reflections

Watched Shanna's kids yesterday

A good day to be outside

My outdoor living room framed by flowering crab (I think) and an undiscovered finch feeder

What lovely kids!

I didn't even care about feeding birds, because I love squirrels, so the feeder that I made was made for them. I also had bridges going between trees and to the feeder, so the squirrels could walk along them instead of having to get on the ground. I also had a bridge from the feeder to my kitchen window so they could come in the house.

Such a lot of beauty in your day.

Apparently I planted bulbs just so the squirrels would have the thrill of digging up a treat. Pesky the squirrel travels far to eat the leavings of the birds.

Do you have a little squirrel door so your squirrels don't have to chew through your screen to get in, Snowbrush? Did you get that shipment of meds you were waiting on?

I didn't keep a screen on that window because if I had, I would have needed to stick my hand through it to feed them nuts. As for the shipment of meds, what shipment? If you meant that one that was stolen last summer, most of it was recovered. After the pharmacy said they wouldn't ship me any more, and it was the only pharmacy that insurance would pay for, I changed insurance. Now, I just go to a walk-in pharmacy that is a couple of blocks from the doctor's office.
