Take the A train

The blogger app is so user non friendly. All my posts will need editing once I get back to my real computer instead of the iPhone. Anyway, yesterday we played tourists. A beautiful day to do it. We took the train into the city.  First stop the 911 museum at ground zero.  Did I know anyone killed? Not on 9/11 but a man whose job I got when he was promoted was blown out of the sky over Lockerbie. Larrry  was such a. Good man. Athey had photos of all 3000+ victims. Using a touch screen, you could hear each story. They had various pieces of the Twin Towers, twisted steel girders and an intact window

The High Line linear park is on a 2 mile long platform. We walked more than 2 miles from Ground Zero to get to it, walked on it and then another mile to the train. Lots of walking

My brother and sister-in law live near the F train. Alas work is being done on the line so service was real spotty. We had to transfer to the A train to get to where the World Trade center towers once stood.
